We are really glad you stopped by to admire our church garden of St Mary Magdalene in this part of Peckham and Nunhead.

 

This garden is an extension of what goes on inside the building. Sharing the development of a faith in a God who created the heavens and our earth.  

The Bible in its origin story called Genesis, named the first garden, Eden from where humanity and the whole created order/nature developed. 

Science has developed and helps us understand our environment better both the wonder but also challenges like climate change. 

 

Whatever your belief or understanding of what we know as creation or nature, we ask you in your admiring of our space to pause, reflect and wonder alone or with family and friends whoever you are. 

We hope we can be better stewards of gardens and green spaces like these. This is part of this churches worship to God and serving our community. 

There are some in our church who love developing this garden. You are welcome to join us too! Please make yourself known and let’s talk about how you might be involved.
