The congregation in worship.
We encourage members of the congregation to use their many and varied gifts both in the worship services and also in the general life of the church. Thus some will preach, lead intercessions, give the bible reading, be a part of the worship group, run the creche, lead a children's group, offer prayer ministry or welcome people on Sunday mornings. Others will do more practical jobs like cleaning, tea making, flower arranging or managing the PA system. Others help with youth work during the week, or lead a housegroup or prayer meeting. We also encourage the congregation to get involved in activites within the local community such as tenants associations or other organisations.
